Terri Rolland	Rolland resists the idea that her work might be beautiful. Nothing would be worse, in her view, than making paintings that are mere decoration. She aims to prod her audience into pondering their relationship to their physical environment and, in the best of all possible worlds, contributing to a shift in understanding of what beauty in art means.
